Manage your profile, security, and preferences

Account Overview

Your QODRYX account gives you access to all platform features. This guide covers how to manage your profile, security settings, notifications, and team members.

Profile Settings

Access your profile settings at Dashboard → Settings → Profile.

Personal Information

Update your personal details:

  • Display Name: How your name appears across the platform
  • Email Address: Primary email for notifications and login
  • Avatar: Upload a profile picture or use Gravatar
  • Timezone: For accurate timestamps and scheduling
  • Language: Interface language preference

Updating Your Email

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Enter your new email address
  3. Verify the new email via the confirmation link
  4. Your old email receives a notification of the change

Email Change Notice

Changing your email will update your login credentials. You'll use the new email to sign in.

Security Settings

Protect your account at Dashboard → Settings → Security.

Password

Change your password regularly for better security:

  • Minimum 12 characters recommended
  • Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • Avoid using passwords from other services

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security with 2FA:

Authenticator AppRecommended

Use Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password

SMS Codes

Receive codes via text message

Security KeysRecommended

Hardware keys like YubiKey (Enterprise)

Backup CodesRecommended

One-time use recovery codes

Setting Up 2FA

  1. Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the verification code
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location

Active Sessions

View and manage your active sessions:

  • See all devices where you're logged in
  • View location, browser, and last activity
  • Revoke sessions you don't recognize
  • Sign out of all devices at once

API Keys

Manage your API keys at Settings → API Keys:

  • Create new API keys with specific scopes
  • View key usage and last used date
  • Revoke compromised or unused keys
  • Set expiration dates for temporary access

Notification Preferences

Configure how you receive notifications at Settings → Notifications.

Notification Types

  • Workflow Events: Start, complete, fail notifications
  • Security Alerts: New vulnerabilities, scan results
  • Deployment Status: Deploy success/failure, rollbacks
  • Team Activity: New members, role changes
  • Billing: Invoice ready, payment issues
  • Product Updates: New features, maintenance notices

Team Management

If you're on a Team or Enterprise plan, manage team members at Settings → Team.

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Invite Members
  2. Enter email addresses (comma-separated for multiple)
  3. Select a role for the invitees
  4. Click Send Invitations

Team Roles

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access, billing, delete organization
AdminManage team, projects, settings (no billing)

Removing Team Members

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Find the member to remove
  3. Click the ... menu → Remove from team
  4. Confirm the removal

Connected Apps

Manage third-party integrations at Settings → Connected Apps:

  • GitHub: Repository access and webhooks
  • GitLab: Project integrations
  • Slack: Notification bot
  • Discord: Alert webhooks
  • Vercel/Railway: Deployment connections

You can revoke access to any connected app at any time. This will disable related integrations.

Data & Privacy

Data Export

Export your data at Settings → Data & Privacy → Export Data:

  • Download all your projects and configurations
  • Export workflow history and logs
  • Get security scan reports
  • Export in JSON or CSV format

Data Retention

  • Workflow logs: 90 days (Pro), 1 year (Team), custom (Enterprise)
  • Security scan history: 1 year
  • Deployment history: Unlimited
  • Audit logs: 1 year (Team/Enterprise)

Deleting Your Account

Account Deletion is Permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, projects, and history. This action cannot be undone.

Before Deleting

  • Export any data you want to keep
  • Cancel your subscription to avoid future charges
  • Transfer project ownership if needed
  • Notify team members if you're an organization owner

Deletion Process

  1. Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account
  2. Enter your password to confirm
  3. Type "DELETE" to confirm
  4. Your account enters a 14-day grace period
  5. After 14 days, all data is permanently deleted

You can cancel deletion during the grace period by logging in and clicking "Cancel Deletion".
